La distribuidora inglesa Metrodome adquirio en el Festival de Cannes los derechos para distribución en el Reino Unido de Ahí va el diablo, escrita y dirigida por Adrián García Bogliano.
En Ahí va el diablo, la última sorpresa del maestro del horror, Adrián García Bogliano (Penumbra, Sudor Frío), un par de hijos pre-adolescentes aparecen inexplicablemente después de haberse perdido durante la noche en un cerro desolado. Mientras los niños se muestran retraídos y comienzan a mostrar un comportamiento extraño, sus padres asumen rápidamente que algo siniestro les sucedió. Pero pronto, los preocupados padres comienzan a notar que sus hijos son victimas de algo inhumano - y que este mal oscuro e imparable ha vuelto a casa con ellos.

UK distributor Metrodome has picked the Rights to distribute Here Comes The Devil, written and directed by Adrian Garcia Bogliano.
In the latest shocker from Argentina’s master of horror Adrian Garcia Bogliano (Penumbra, Cold Sweat), a couple’s pre-teen son and daughter inexplicably reappear after being lost overnight on a desolate, cave-riddled mountainside. As the children become withdrawn and begin to exhibit strange behavior, their parents quickly assume something sinister happened to them while missing and alone. But soon, the concerned mother and father begin to realize that their children may have instead fallen prey to something inhuman – and that this dark, unstoppable evil has now returned home with them.

Santa Monica, CA (4 de noviembre de 2011) - MPI Media Group ha anunciado hoy que va a co-producir con Salto de Fe Films AHÍ VIENE EL DIABLO, un thriller que será dirigido por Adrián García Bogliano, creador de las sensacionales Penumbra y Sudor Frío.
La película se centrará en los niños de una pareja que desaparecen en las cuevas de Tijuana. El rodaje se llevará a cabo en locaciones de la ciudad mexicana y sus alrededores, incluyendo las cuevas siniestras que ocupan un lugar destacado en la historia.
AHI VIENE EL DIABLO es el primer largometraje de Salto de Fe Films, la nueva comprañía productora del director Adrián García Bogliano, con sede en la Ciudad de México. Además de las recientes Penumbra y Sudor Frío, otros logros del cine independiente de García Bogliano son Habitaciones para turistas, 36 pasos, Masacre esta noche y Donde duerme el horror.
Con AHÍ VIENE EL DIABLO, García Bogliano se aproxima al ámbito sobrenatural: Un matrimonio pierde a sus hijos en un viaje de familia cerca de unas cuevas en Tijuana. Los niños aparecen sin ninguna explicación, pero es evidente que no son quienes solían ser, algo terrible los ha cambiado.

Casting in underway on the movie, which will center on a couple’s children who go missing in the caves of Tijuana. Shooting will take place on locations in the Mexican city and its environs, including ominous caves that figure prominently in the story.
HERE COMES THE DEVIL is the first full-length feature from Salto de Fe Films, filmmaker Adrian Garcia Bogliano’s new production company, based in Mexico City. In addition to the recent Penumbra and Cold Sweat, Garcia Bogliano’s many films include such independent genre achievements as Rooms for Tourists, 36 Steps, Watch ’em Die and The Accursed.
With HERE COMES THE DEVIL, he moves into a supernatural realm: A married couple loses their children while on a family trip near some caves in Tijuana. The kids eventually reappear without explanation, but it becomes clear that they are not who they used to be, that something terrifying has changed them.
Adrian Garcia Bogliano said: “Salto de Fe Films is committed to creating horror films in and about Latin America, and we couldn’t ask for better partners than MPI and Dark Sky, which have been behind so many great thrillers.”

COLD SWEAT AQUIRED FOR DISTRIBUTION BY MPI IN THE U.S.

MPI Media Group anunció que ha adquirido todos los derechos para distribuir Sudor Frío en Estados Unidos y Canadá “una nueva película de horror con un par de villanos que elevan la maldad en el cine”, según asegura la distribuidora. Considerada una de las sensaciones del festival de cine South By Southwest, la película, dirigida por Adrián García Bogliano, recibirá un lanzamiento en cines estadounidenses en el otoño boreal del 2011, para después salir en DVD y VOD (video on demand).
Sudor Frío es una coproducción de Pampa Films, productora líder en Argentina, y la productora platense de cine de horror Paura Flics. Las producciones anteriores de Pampa incluyen los éxitos locales La Señal y La leyenda. El acuerdo de distribución de Sudor Frío fue negociado por Greg Newman, vicepresidente ejecutivo de MPI Media Group, y Antonio Riopredre, representante de Pampa Films.
Sobre el último triunfo estético de García Bogliano, Greg Newman comentó: “Adrian ha estado haciendo películas innovadoras por más de una década, y con Sudor Frío ha entregado una historia muy original e inolvidable en el género de terror. Esta película es un placer para los espectadores”. Otras películas de los hermanos García Bogliane incluyen: Habitaciones para turistas, Masacre esta noche, Donde duerme el horror y Penumbra.
Cuando Jacquie, la novia de Roman, desaparece, este espera dar con la chica en los brazos de otro hombre. Y la encuentra, pero no hay ningún amante con ella, sólo un par de viejos locos que la mantienen encerrada en el sótano de su casa, armados con ideales políticos de ultra derecha, ojos desorbitados y antiguas cajas de dinamita altamente inestable. El dúo de villanos están llevando a cabo experimentos ilegales en mujeres atraídas a su casa a través de Internet, y si Roman no puede liberar a su amor, es probable que terminen en pedazos, gracias en parte a una generosa cantidad de nitroglicerina untada sobre el cuerpo de Jacquie.

MPI Media Group announced it has acquired all North American rights to COLD SWEAT, a new horror film featuring a pair of villains who raise the bar in cinematic evil. A sensation at the South By Southwest film festival, the film, directed by Adrián García Bogliano, will receive a theatrical release in fall 2011, to be followed by DVD and Video on Demand availability.
COLD SWEAT (Sudor Frío) is a co-production of Pampa Films, a leading studio in Argentina, and indie house Paura Flics. Pampa’s previous productions include the local box-office hits The Signal and The Legend. The COLD SWEAT distribution deal was negotiated by Greg Newman, executive vice president of MPI Media Group, and Antonio Riopredre of Pampa.

When Roman’s girlfriend disappears, he expects to find her in the arms of another man. And find her he does, but there is no lover on the scene, only a pair of crazy old men keeping her locked away in the basement of their crumbling mansion. The villainous duo are conducting illicit experiments on a string of young women lured to their home via the internet, and if Roman cannot free his young love, she is likely to end up in pieces, thanks in part to a generous slathering of nitro-glycerine.

The ABC’s of Death Announced in Cannes- May 12 2011

Drafthouse Films, Timpson Films and Magnet Releasing are teaming to produce “The ABCs of Death,” a 26-chapter anthology film that 25 established horror directors — plus a contest winner — will direct.
Each director will be assigned a letter from the alphabet that represents a word to act as a springboard for a short. It will be up to each filmmaker to interpret, from accidental deaths to murders committed in cold blood.
Production is slated to begin in June, with completion slated for January — six months, six weeks and six days later. The 25 directors participating are from all over the world, while the 26th helmer will be chosen as part of a global contest to find a new filmmaking talent. Directors include Jason Eisener (“Hobo With a Shotgun”), Nacho Vigalondo (“TimeCrimes”), Ti West (“The House of the Devil”), Srdjan Spasojevic (“A Serbian Film”), Angela Bettis (“Roman”) and Ben Wheatley (“The Kill List”).
Alamo Drafthouse CEO-founder Tim League and Timpson Films CEO Ant Timpson will co-produce the project, for which Magnolia Intl. will handle international sales.
” ‘The ABCs of Death’ offers us a chance to work closely with a large number of visionary filmmakers to create a film with more jaw-dropping moments than a whole summer of blockbusters,” League said.
“This project was inspired by my young sons being introduced to the world through their ABCs books. The idea of subverting that format to reveal a study in all the dastardly and humorous ways a person can leave this world appealed on multiple levels,” said Timpson, who added that “it was somewhat fitting to learn that the earliest forms of the ABCs books actually did use fear of punishment to teach the young.”
“I got to the letter A and said yes,” said Magnet SVP Tom Quinn, who negotiated the deal with League, Timpson and Jason Janego. “We’re super excited to be working with a familiar cast of Magnet directors, as well as Tim League and Ant Timpson.”
Other directors involved include Banjong Pisanthanakun, Adrian Garcia Bogliano, Ernesto Diaz Espinoza, Bruno Forzani and Helene Cattet, Gadi Harel, Thomas Malling, Yoshihiro Nishimura, Simon Rumley, Tak Sakaguchi and Yuji Shimomura, Marcel Sarmiento, Timo Tjahjanto, Andrew Traucki, Jake West and Adam Wingard.
